CTRC was incorporated in 1976 as a residential facility with a modest professional support team.

In the late 1980’s the Government announced plans to depopulate all facilities. In keeping with this philosophy, CTRC shifted to community based services and established a series of residential homes while at the same time enhancing the Professional Resource Team and Infant Development Program.

A long path well travelled.
